Why LED Display Is All Black? (No Displaying On Whole LED Display)

Even though LED display industry with more than 20 years, but nowadays there are still many fresh business men own their first LED display. When they use software to control LED display, there will be some control failures problems. We collected clients FAQ on this and share the corresponding solutions.

Q: I connected all cables, why my LED display is all black? (No displaying on LED display)


Failure Cause:
a) No AC power input
Solution: Check the power supply, turn on the swift of power distributor, the power indicator should be on.

b) PC is not started up
Solution: Start up the PC, open the LED studio software.

c) Signal cable break down (RJ45 cable between sending card and first receiver card)
Solution: Check the signal cable, Reconnect it until the green indicator twinkling as normal.

d) Controlling System break down (Sending card)
Solution: Check if the sending card is working normal (green indicator twinkling, red indicator keep lighting). If the green indicator is off or keeps lighting, it means there is no signal (if the indicator is off, it maybe also because its power is off). Sending card will very seldom break down. If it truly breaks off, please change the sending card.

e) Receiving card is not power on
Solution: Check the receiving card input voltage DC5V, check if the first receiving card is working normal.

f) DVI cable not connected
Solution: Power off the computer and reconnect the DVI cable.

g) DVI card setting mistake
Solution: Checking the DVI card setting, the multiple display mode should be “duplicate”.All possible failure cause is above. Pls check carefully according to these solutions.
