In early August, Nationstar Optoelectronics completed a new round of large-scale equipment update operations and introduced more than 1,000 advanced production equipment such as die bonding and wire bonding, providing a solid foundation for expanding capacity and increasing production, reducing costs and increasing efficiency, and saving energy and reducing emissions. support.
In the LED production workshop of Nationstar Optoelectronics, brand-new production equipment is being installed one after another. After the new equipment is fully put into use, production efficiency will be significantly improved:

1. Higher efficiency
Through process updates and technological innovations of new equipment, we will improve production efficiency and promote cost reduction and efficiency improvement. Taking the wire bonding machine as an example, the efficiency of the new equipment will increase from 9,000 pieces/hour of the old equipment to 12,500 pieces/hour.

2. More stable quality
Based on the performance and function upgrades of new equipment, product processes have been further optimized and product quality has become more stable. Taking the die bonding machine as an example, this equipment has an automatic chip correction function, which can accurately control the position of the chip and substrate, effectively reducing errors in the packaging process.

3. Better management

Through the digital management system, production site work is simplified, staffing is optimized, and management quality and efficiency are improved. Take wire bonding machines as an example. In the past, one staff member could only operate 12 machines, but now one staff member can operate 24 or more machines, significantly improving management efficiency.

In the past three years, a total of more than 500 million yuan has been invested in technical transformation projects, and more than 3,000 advanced production equipment have been introduced, which has promoted the production capacity of packaging devices and LED components to increase by more than 20%, and the production capacity of LED chips to increase by 60%, injecting strong momentum to accelerate technological breakthroughs and product upgrades.

Accelerate the promotion of digital transformation
Fully build a smart cloud factory, complete the launch and coverage of digital systems such as ERP, SRM, and MES, build two digital intelligent demonstration workshops, and introduce a total of 300 sets of automation equipment such as AOI automatic detection and AGV handling robots, creating a complete and efficient automated LED intelligent manufacturing workshop. In 2023, it was selected into the list of "Guangdong Province Intelligent Manufacturing Pilot Demonstration" with the "New Model of LED Packaging Intelligent Manufacturing" project.

Accelerate the promotion of green development
Build a comprehensive energy management platform, and achieve energy conservation and carbon reduction through measures such as photovoltaic power generation, air conditioning energy-saving transformation, and zero-gas energy-saving dryer upgrades and transformations, and promote green development. According to statistics, from January to June this year, Nationstar Optoelectronics' rooftop photovoltaic power generation was about 200,000 kWh, and the unit electricity consumption decreased by 4.99% year-on-year, saving more than 2.5 million kWh of electricity and more than 1.8 million yuan in electricity bills. Relying on equipment updates and technological transformation, Nationstar Optoelectronics can increase production efficiency by more than 15% per year, save more than 4 million kWh of electricity, and reduce carbon emissions by more than 2,636 tons.
